General Technical Assistance Tools for Trainers

A major focus of CELL is technical assistance on early literacy practices for young children birth to 6 years of age. Within this section of our website there are a variety of different methods, materials, and practices that can be used to conduct training on early literacy.

The CELL model and approach includes both evidence-based intervention and implementation practices that technical assistance providers can use to promote practitioners and parents use of early literacy learning practices.
Findings reported in research syntheses of early literacy learning practices and adult learning practices are the foundations for the CELL practices.

The training model for CELL Technical assistance is based upon our Participatory Adult Learning Strategy (PALS). To learn more about this read: Let’s Be PALS - An Evidence-Based Approach to Professional Development.

CELL PresentationsCELL Presentations for Technical assistance providers and trainers are materials that are useful for training others to use the CELL practices. Both training modules and power point presentations are available.
