CELLreviews are practice-based research syntheses of early communication, language, and literacy development. These syntheses involve systematic analysis and integration of small bodies of research that have investigated the same or similar practices having the same or similar outcomes.


cellnotes
CELLnotes are one- to two-page summaries of the findings from practice-based research syntheses. These summaries, written in a user-friendly format, are designed specifically for practitioners and parents.


cellpractices
CELLpractices include descriptions of the methods, steps, or procedures for promoting adoption and use of evidence-based literacy learning practices by practitioners, parents, and other caregivers.


celltoolkits
CELLtoolkits include descriptions of methods and strategies that can be implemented to achieve an effect similar to that reported in a particular research synthesis. CELLtoolkits include user-friendly brochures, newsletters, DVDs, and PowerPoint presentations where the relationship between characteristics of the practice and the results that can be expected is carefully explained.
