Major Center Activities
CELL staff and partners are engaged in four major activities:
- the conduct of practice-based research syntheses of studies of early communication, language, and literacy development,
- the documentation of evidence-based literacy learning practices at field-test sites,
- the development of evidence-based practices and tool kits, and
- the conduct of research and evaluation studies of the effectiveness of both CELL practice guides and technical assistance for promoting use of the evidence-based practices.
